QUAINTON EMAIL LETTER 22.9.17

URGENTLY NEEDED FOR THIS SUNDAY, PLEASE

We need someone to operate the gate this Sunday. You will have your own little, brick built ticket booth, a stool, counter and all the equipment needed including a telephone and lighting (electric). Its a nice little place but it needs an occupant on Sunday, please. To put it bluntly - if no one comes forward we can't open.

PARKING this weekend

As is normal now for our Traction Engine Rally the parade route is around Rewley Road Visitor Centre and via the "car park", the lane and up past the old brick station. Accordingly, there is NO parking on the Up side for members. MEMBERS PARKING this weekend is in the Buffer Depot and the field. When parking in the Buffer Depot PLEASE park end on to the edge and not parallel. If you park parallel then we can only get 6 or 8 cars in; parking end on allows many more cars in. Don't forget to shut the gate to stop visitors following you in and getting in for free...

BREAKFASTS!

A full English cooked breakfast will be available on both Saturday and Sunday this weekend between 8am and 10am.

Its going to be a great weekend with lovely weather! A pair of hands on the Sunday gate is all that is now needed.
