QUAINTON EMAIL LETTER 05/07/2017

MISSING FROM HOME

During Brian Ammann's enforced absence to visit various medical people one of the platforms for the tower that he and George use to work on the outside of the Underground Cars has been persuaded to help another project elsewhere. Sometimes this is known as a Zip-Up Tower (it has a trap door in it). Without it the tower is unusable so Brian & George would be very grateful for the return of the platform, please.

A GUIDE IS NEEDED NEXT WEEK

Peter is once again looking for a tour guide for next Wednesday 12th July. He already has 4 but needs a fifth, please. If you can help, please contact the Office on 01296 655 720 asap.

GOOD NEWS OF AN AWARD - from The Chair.

Buckinghamshire Business Awards - How did we do?

Well we failed to win the Tourism and Leisure award, however to be one of three finalists, along with Halton UK, and to loose to Stoke Park is a testament to the impact the Centre’s entry had on the judges – and we know where we can strengthen it for 2018!

To see what we were up against have a look at the following links -

https://www.stokepark.com/

http://www.haltontennis.co.uk/

?I can also feedback that there was a significant amount of good will in the room towards the Centre and without knowing my link one lady on my table observed that she and her children loved coming to see us.Ben Jackson, Chair, QRS
